In this guide I will show you how to create an “ansible.cfg” file. This file is needed for the Ansible file structure. In this file you will designate standards for how your Ansible repository will operate. When not using the standard Ansible folders that come with the install, you will need this file in any repository you want to Ansible playbooks. In this How To I am using Ansible version 2.9.2, my text editor is VSCODE and my OS is Ubuntu 20.04 Focal Foss.
